Restored, 1931 Mills, 10 cent, Silent Jackpot Front Vendor "F.O.K."

This is the Mills silent F.O.K. or also known as the Modern Front. This is a very nice restored 10 cent slot, all original with original back door. The mint vendors in front vend a roll of mints for each dime. This made this machine a mint vendor and so it found it's way around the law. It vended a roll of mints for a dime and you also got to pull the handel and try to win some money. A mint vendor, not a slot machine. So why was everyone trying to buy mints when the vendors showed that they were empty? However, this worked and got around the laws in some states where slot machines were illeagal, but mint vendors were not. Does not come with the stand shown in the photo. A really nice machine which is on consignment with us,

Sorry, This Slot Machine has been sold.

Showing here is the right side of this slot machine, notice the gold leafing on the outside edges in this photo. Also here is another photo showing the front with the mint vendors, and the mint vendor knob. Notice the birds on the two outside columns? A lot of people don't notice these. Last of all we have a shot of the back of this machine with the rear door off, in this photo. Can you notice the great fortune reel strips in the last photo? This was another ploy at trying to get around the laws, this made the slot machine a fortune teller with a fortune on every reel symbol, for your dime. This machine had all the angles and all excuses built right into it, to try to beat the gaming laws.
